Counterflow applications - The Charles Brown Company also offers a counter-flow direct heat dryer. This system introduces hot gases at one end and material is dried at the opposing end. Since the material and gas flow are at opposite directions, the gas discharge is substantially lower than the product temperature maximizing heat transfer to the product, this unique design offer a very high rate of efficiency and minimizes residual moisture in the product.
